Nigel Hinds Financial Services (NHFS) became the latest entity to throw financial support behind the fourth Magnum Futsal Tournament, donating an undisclosed sum yesterday during a simple presentation ceremony at the company’s Croal Street locale.
The tournament features participation from teams emanating from a large cross-section. Officially commences on Monday from 19:00hrs. The 24 competing teams have already been confirmed, seeded, and grouped for the tournament, which returns following a brief hiatus owing to the Covid-19 pandemic.
NHFS Chief Executive Officer Nigel Hinds stated that he is happy to witness the return of the event which has carved a niche, as one of the most exciting tournaments in the Futsal format.
Edison Jefford, Co-Organizer of the tournament thanked the company for its contribution, adding, “We are happy that NHFS came onboard. When people understand the importance of grassroots sports it only contributes to development and Nigel understands the need for development.
He added, “This tournament will be major because we know the players have been longing for its return and we are just happy to provide the players with a platform to showcase their skill and ability.”
