In celebration of its tenth year here in Guyana, Assuria Insurance chose to honour its first major corporate pension plan customer – Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI).
According to an Assuria release on Wednesday, it recently hosted an appreciation ceremony and presented a commemorative cake to the utility to mark the occasion.
Speaking at the presentation at GWI headquarters on Vlissengen Road, Georgetown, Erwin Daniel, Head of Life/Health/Pension Department at Assuria, thanked the company for its loyalty. He noted that GWI was the first major company to support Assuria by placing its pension plan under the care and management of Assuria.
“We thank the GWI for being the 1st major institution to put its trust in Assuria, back in 2014 when it we were a new entrant to the Guyanese insurance market. This demonstrated your confidence in the Assuria brand. We are even more grateful, is the fact that the GWI has remained a valued customer of Assuria over the past 8 years. This speaks volumes about the level of service that we provide to our clients.” Daniels was quoted as saying.
