As part of government’s commitment to expanding health facilities across the country, and to ensure all citizens have access to quality health care services, the Minister of Health, Dr Frank Anthony on Tuesday commissioned the refurbished $13.6 million Nappi Health Post in Region Nine (Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo), according to a Ministry of Health release.
The fully-equipped facility will service approximately 908 residents in Nappi Village and other surrounding villages in the Region. It is fully staffed with two Community Health Workers who, the release said are equipped to offer maternal child health services and outpatient services.
