Guyana’s Golden Jaguars lost to French Guiana 1-2 in an international friendly yesterday in the capital city of Cayenne.
The Guyanese, who led the contest 1-0 at the end of the first half compliments of a Pernell Schultz strike, suffered two unanswered goals in the second stanza to incur defeat.
It was the second loss for recently appointed head coach Jamaal Shabazz, who is in his fourth reign. Guyana will conclude their two match series against the French side tomorrow.
