Some $69.3 million will be spent by the Ministry of Public Works for the upgrade of the Leonora Market Old Road, Region Three, the Department of Public Information (DPI) reported.
Minister within the Ministry of Public Works, Deodat Indar during a community engagement at Kowsilla Park, Leonora yesterday said, “This is designed to bring everybody [vendors] who are selling at the front inside, so this thing with people at the back suffering and they’re the ones who got to pay and so, it got to come to an end.”
The asphaltic concrete road will be approximately 343 metres in length and will feature a tarmac.
