Dear Editor,
Two news items are worthy of mention: the first has to do with the NRF Board to be chaired by a prominent citizen of high repute and standing. This is a good choice and augurs well for the work of the Board. The second item to grasp my attention has to do with homes to be built for CPL and to be rented, the revenues earned from this venture will go towards the down payment for homes for the needed. This is cricket, not only played loudest, but with a vision and has strands of similarity to houses built for CARIFESTA 1972 in what became known as Festival City. Good forward thinking and initiative. It is hoped deserving persons benefit from this well intended undertaking.
