The fourth Magnum Independence Futsal Cup was officially launched yesterday at the Fireside ‘Grill n Chill’ restaurant on Garnett Street, with the first round of fixtures set to commence today at the National Park tarmac, Thomas Lands.
Tournament Co-Organizer Edison Jefford during the feature address thanked all the stakeholders for their input in making the tournament a reality, adding that all systems are in place for the staging of the prestigious event.
According to Jefford, the venture is an established brand and that the organizers are determined to ensure the continuity of the tournament, adding overwhelming support from the teams and the public has been forthcoming, which vindicates their decision to stage the event.
