President Irfaan Ali and members of his delegation attended a welcome dinner last evening in London.
The Office of the President said that the dinner was hosted by Guyana’s High Commission in London at the Royal Horseguards Hotel and was attended by several prominent Guyanese living in the UK, including legendary cricketer Sir Clive Lloyd; Baroness Valerie Amos; writer and broadcaster, Sir Trevor Phillips; Professor David Dabydeen; Grace Nichols; John Agard; Gina Miller and others.
Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, Oneidge Walrond; CEO of G-Invest, Dr Peter Ramsaroop and Director of Projects at the Office of the President, Marcia Nadir-Sharma were also present.
The President is in London for the Caribbean Council’s House of Lords Reception and the Guyana Investment Seminar.
