The Ministry of Labour has announced the appointment of interim committees to manage the business of two more co-operatives.
In notices in today’s Stabroek News, the Department of Co-operatives and Friendly Societies announced that interim bodies will be appointed for the West Demerara Market Co-operative Society Ltd and the Amalgamated Transport and General Co-operative Credit Union Ltd.
The ministry had previously announced the appointment of an interim committee for the Linden Utility Services Co-operative Society Limited (LUSCSL).
Today’s Stabroek News also contained the formal notice of the interim committee for LUSCL.
The notices were signed by Debbie Persaud, acting Chief Co-operatives Development Officer.
