For a number of months, members of the public have been complaining about the rise in the cost of living particularly for food items.
Stabroek News checked on prices for some of the key items and will be tracking any changes in prices.
The three supermarkets that were visited were Bounty, Mattai’s and Massy while the main food items that were checked upon were oil, flour, rice and sugar.
