One of the victims in the accident which claimed the life of 44-year-old Shazie Hoosain, of Greenfield, East Coast Demerara (ECD), is still hospitalised.
The 16-year-old who had sustained a broken right leg was still a patient at Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) up to yesterday, while the driver, Saif Arjune, was said to have been discharged.
Initial reports from the police had revealed that Hoosain and two others were occupants of motorcar PJJ 485 which was being driven by Arjune at the time.
