Former Guyanese lightweight boxer, Al Brown, whose professional career spawned from 1948-1957 passed away on Tuesday at the age of 91 in England.

This was confirmed by his son, Stephen Brown yesterday. According to Stephen, his father succumbed to pneumonia and heart failure at the Ealing Hospital in West London.
