Due to the increase in the price of raw materials and inputs, Bounty Farm Limited has increased the price of its chicken.
A notice was issued earlier in the month to customers of the increase.
“…The cost of raw materials however, feed ingredients, in particular, have escalated to levels that leaves us no alternative but to increase our prices. These are conditions of our industry over which we have no control and we trust that we can count on your understanding of this matter,” the notice stated.
Although the company has not revealed the percentage of increase, a source told this newspaper that the increase is around 15%.
The increase was made effective from May 9th, 2022.
