Tagenarine Chanderpaul struck his third first-class century while Gudakesh Motie crossed the triple-figure mark for the first time in his career as Guyana Harpy Eagles piled up 490 for seven in their first innings against Barbados Pride who closed the second day of the West Indies Championship on 48 for two.
Playing at Queen’s Park Oval, Trinidad and Tobago, the Eagles resumed on 219 for four with Chanderpaul on 68. His responsible innings spanned over 11 hours and 434 balls as he worked his way to 140 not out by the time Eagles declared after 157.4 overs.
His third first-class century featured 14 boundaries including a cut through point off a short ball to bring up his hundred.
