Dear Editor,
Have you been rejected or disappointed time and time again? Well, Colonel Harland Sanders, founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken, did. But he took his failures and didn’t just make lemonade. Sanders began several odd jobs until finally the entrepreneur began selling fried chicken from his roadside restaurant in Corbin, Kentucky, during the Great Depression. After he opened several franchises. Many businesses have competitors today. The only way to win over tough competition is by being better than the rest with great strategies. One should never give up on the road to success since a business is a blessing. Firstly, my advice to a declining businesses is a business man/woman should always remember the marketing mix of the business world – the four p’s -product, price, place and promotion. Each of the p’s impacts one’s business tremendously.
The term “marketing mix” is a foundation model for business. The marketing mix has been defined as the “set of marketing tools that a firm uses to pursue its marketing objectives in the target market.” Lastly, without attractive advertisements of products/services there would not be satisfaction for the consumers and business. Advertisement plays a vital role in improving sales ten times more. I remember walking around Stabroek market and saw fish selling right outside nicely displayed with slices of lime and tomatoes garnishing it on a table. How can someone even miss the attraction of this product offered at the market? Therefore to my fellow business owners, keep the marketing aspect in play for your consumers more often. Being clear and concise gives your product and service higher attention.
Sincerely,
