APNU city councillor Heston Bostwick on Monday denied a claim that he granted permission for the construction of a vending place.
Bostwick issued the denial amidst a row with Mayor Ubraj Narine at the council’s statutory meeting, which was held at the Kitty Market.
The heated row stemmed from a proposal made by Bostwick for the processing of a specific application to be sped up. The Mayor noted that a young woman had visited his office about the very application and he had directed her to go back to the person who sent her.
