A ninth first-class century from Jamaica Scorpions Jermaine Blackwood frustrated the Guyana Harpy Eagles on the opening day of their fourth-round West Indies Championship clash in Trinidad and Tobago.
Jamaica won the toss and elected to bat first and closed the day on 282 for six after 90 overs with Blackwood heading into the next day on 110 from 251 balls. He struck 14 fours and a six during his innings.
Demetri Cameron got Guyana on their way by removing Leroy Lugg for five after guiding a simple catch to Gudakesh Motie at backward point.
