Dear Editor,
I wondered whether it was an address on the occasion of our Independence Anniversary or exhortations from the campaign platform. But I enjoyed the cultural presentations. Still no National Awards. Again bitterly disappointed. The unfurling of the Golden Arrowhead brought joy and pride. The showers did not stop the fireworks….to light up the night sky.
All in all the programme to herald our 56th Independence Anniversary observance was well organized, choreographed and attended.
