The Ministry of Health yesterday reported a total of 73 new COVID-19 cases.
The new cases were recorded from the results of 1,409 tests.
The updated COVID-19 dashboard showed that Region One recorded 2 of the new cases, Region Two recorded 7, Region Three recorded 7, Region Four recorded 45 new cases, Region Five recorded 7, Region Six recorded 2, Region Seven recorded 1 and Region Ten recorded 2 new cases.
In addition, the dashboard showed that the number of persons in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) had reduced to 2, while 25 persons were in institutional isolation. There were also 834 in home isolation.
The official number of deaths recorded from the virus remained at 1,237. The last three deaths were reported on June 1, 2022, and included a 3 month-old baby girl.
