The Ministry of Health yesterday said that a Region Six man, 71, is the latest COVID-19 fatality.
He was fully vaccinated and had had a booster shot, the ministry said.
This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 1,239.
Meanwhile, the ministry said that there were 138 new cases of the virus. One person is in the ICU at the Infection Diseases Hospital at Liliendaal.
