Jamaica Women, despite having the same amount of points as Barbados, surged to the top of the T20 Blaze table after beating the Windward Islands by 25 runs in another low scoring affair yesterday.
Playing their second match under lights at the National Stadium, Providence, Jamaica took first strike but were routed for 91 in 19.3 overs. However, despite the low score, their bowlers managed to shoot out the Windwards for 66 in 16.4 overs.
The dangerous Natasha McLean was trapped leg before wicket to left-arm seamer, Jannillea Glasgow who enters the next match on a hat-trick after removing Jerona Walcott and Tameka Sanford off of successive deliveries to end with 4-21.
