Training, counselling among initiatives taken to address student behaviour at Lodge Secondary

A week since teachers at Lodge Secondary School staged a protest against gang activities at the school, several initiatives have been undertaken to address the situation.

According to the Deputy Head Master Khemraj Sawh, the Ministry of Education has organised training programmes for students.

Sawh said a team from the Guyana Police Force visited on Tuesday to have a discussion with the children. Representatives of the Guyana Defence Force are also due to meet with them.
