It was a massacre at the Felix Sanchez Olympic Stadium in the Dominican Republic as Guyana suffered a 0-6 drubbing to Haiti in the Concacaf Nations League, besting their worst ever loss incurred against the French speaking nation which was attained three days prior.
The League B encounter was the reverse fixture of the 2-6 drubbing inflicted on the Guyanese at the National Track and Field Centre, Leonora on Saturday. The Golden Jaguars were outclassed from the opening whistle, and if it wasn’t for a combination of spirited goalkeeping and wasteful finishing by the Haitians, the scoreline could have easily been worse.
