Two men passed away from COVID-19 on June 14.
A statement yesterday from the Ministry of Health said that one of the fatalities was 49 years old. He was from Region Four and his vaccination status was unknown. The other was 68, from Region Six and he was fully vaccinated. There was no information on whether he had had a booster dose.
The death toll from the pandemic is now 1,244.
Meanwhile, the ministry’s dashboard yesterday reported 120 new cases of the virus.
One person is in the ICU.
