The South Turkeyen Sports Committee (STSC) will stage a Father’s Day Small-Goal Football tournament at the Vryheid’s Lust Tarmac, East Coast Demerara on Sunday.
This was disclosed in a release from the STSC. An entrance fee of $3,000 per team is required for participation. The competition is expected to attract sides from several surrounding communities. The event was initially scheduled for May 28 and 29 at the Vryheid’s Lust tarmac.
Sponsors of the tournament include Becks Lumber Yard, Kent Phillips of Antarctic Maintenance and Repairs, Jacobs Jewellery, Deputy Mayor Alfred Mentore, National Sports Commission, and Nigel Hinds Financial Services.
