Dear Editor,
Post the GAWU President’s address, and just prior to the main address, was a dance by a female troupe from Berbice. I observed during the dance a group of men sitting on stage, among them the Presi-dent. My observation is that these men could not possibly have enjoyed the dance, with swirling bodies, backsides and swishing cloth in their faces. These men should have sat under the tent with other dignitaries and guests in order to enjoy and appreciate the dance. Just an observation.
Sincerely,
Shamshun Mohamed
