One more COVID death was reported yesterday by the Ministry of Health. The victim has been identified as a 75-year-old man of Region 3, Essequibo Islands-West Demerara.
The ministry said that the man who succumbed on Sunday was fully vaccinated. The country’s death toll now stands at 1,248.
In addition, the daily dashboard stated that out of 233 COVID tests, 15 new cases were recorded. Five cases were recorded from Region 2, two from Region 3 and eight from Region Four.
Meanwhile, two persons are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) while 26 are in institutional isolation and 868 in home isolation.
