Jamaica Women cruised into the semi-finals of the Cricket West Indies CG Insurance Women’s Super50 Cup after beating the Windward Islands Women by eight wickets yesterday at the National Stadium, Providence.
With the contest reduced to 39 overs, Jamaica won the toss and inserted Windwards but after another shower that saw 63 minutes coming out of the contest, Windwards eventually made 101 for nine from their quota.
Jamaica were set a target of 100, which they reached in 23.2 overs for the loss of only two wickets.
