Myers stars as Queen’s College win

Francois Myers of Queen’s College attempts a jump shot against the D-UP Academy of Tuschen in the National School Basketball Festival (NSBF) Boy’s Pre-Season at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Homestretch Avenue Sunday.

Queen’s College, Covent Garden, the Bishops’ High, and Christ Church recorded wins when the National School Basketball Festival (NSBF) Boy’s Pre-Season tour continued Sunday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Homestretch Avenue.

Queen’s College downed D-UP Academy of Tuschen 38-21. Francois Myers recorded a double-double of 10 points and as many rebounds, with Owen Hooper registering 10 points and eight steals. Adding 10 points in the win was Ezekiel Griffith. On the other side, Jaden Moses and Daniel Williams scored six points apiece.

Similarly, Covent Garden defeated Friendship Secondary 23-6. Jonathan Giddings led the rout with 13 points, while Samuel Inniss added six points. For the loser, Amari Harlequin netted five points.
