Former West Indies U-19 captain, Matthew Nandu, continued his purple patch run in Canada, this time hitting a vital half-century to lead Kaiteur to a 130-run win over Canadian Eagles on Saturday.
Kaiteur won the toss and elected to bat in the Brampton Etobicoke and District Cricket League fixture at Laurel Park, Canada where they posted 252 for eight from their 50 overs. Eagles were kept grounded and eventually rolled over for 122 in 25.1 overs.
Nandu top scored with 75, hitting six fours and one six in his 78-ball innings before being trapped leg before wicket to Pampreet Sandhu.
