Dear Editor,
A PPP/C female activist in Region # 2 is doing a good job within her community to benefit herself, friends and family members. Allegations have been raised of her
husband working at two separate locations at nights as a security officer and in the day work as a labourer to clean trenches. She is personally in charge of the school canteen in the village with her daughter-in-law being employed there. Her son is contracted to weed trenches within the R.D.C. district. Her son-in-law presently signed a contract to clean five (5) trenches. Sewing is also done at her residence in Pomona for which she collects a fee although the machines are not her property. Sometime back she was entrusted to distribute 100 baby chicks to persons who were encouraged to make pens but, in the end, they did not get any. The excuse given was that the stock had been exhausted. Other persons in the area need employment as well and they too must be given a chance to earn something.
Sincerely,
Rohan Lam & Others
