Former Guyana youth off-spinner Richie Looknauth was instrumental in Meten-Meer-Zorg Cricket Club (MMZ) defeating Majestic Cricket Club by seven wickets in the Lax Network Queens DBA Dunkin 40-over tournament Sunday.
After winning the toss and opting to bat at Cunningham Park, Majestic were routed for 96 in 23 overs and MMZ needed just 18.4 overs to reach 97 for three.
Looknauth stifled Majestic’s scoring by removing their skipper, Derick Narine, for 36 from 26 balls and his opening partner, Chris Patandin. He ended with 4-26.
