Guyana Women were bundled out for 23 and eventually suffered an eight-wicket loss to Jamaica Women who advanced to the final of the CG Insurance Super50 Cup.
The semi-final match up at the National Stadium, Providence yesterday saw Jamaica winning the toss and opting to bowl. Guyana lasted just 68 balls while Jamaica needed 5.1 overs to reach 27 for two and move into the final.
Extras was the highest scorer with nine. Chinelle Henry removed Mandy Mangru three balls into Guyana’s innings while her opening partner, Lashuna Toussaint was caught at first slip by Stafanie Taylor off of Vanessa Watts in the second over.
