The Milo Secondary Schools Football Competition will continue today at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue, with another four elimination encounters.
In the opening match, Carmel Secondary will battle
Christianburg/Wismar at 12:30hrs while West Ruimveldt will engage Marian Academy at 14:00hrs.
In the final two encounters Uitvlugt will battle Cummings Lodge at 15:30hrs and North Ruimveldt will oppose Canje Secondary from 17:00hrs.
Tomorrow at the same venue, Golden Grove will match skills with Annandale at 12:30hrs while Dolphin Secondary will face off with New Central at 14:00hrs.
Tucville against Friendship from 15:30hrs and Lodge Secondary against President’s College from 17:00hrs are the final two fixtures.
The first prize is $300,000, the championship trophy and gold medals while the runners-up will pocket $200,000, a trophy and silver medals. The third-place finisher will receive $100,000, a trophy, and bronze medals while the fourth-place side will walk away with $75,000 and a trophy. The most disciplined team will be awarded a trophy.
On the individual side, the most valuable player (MVP) will receive a pair of cleats and a trophy while the highest goal scorer will receive an identical package. The best goalkeeper will receive a pair of gloves and a trophy.
