Harrinand Persaud, the Chief Financial and Marketing Officer of King’s Hotel and Residences, was on Friday re-elected as the President of the Tourism and Hospitality Association of Guyana (THAG).
The election took place at the THAG’s 29th Annual General Meeting, which was held at the Guyana Marriott Hotel, to elect a new Executive Council.
In a statement, THAG said the other members of the new Executive are: Kenneth Shivdyal, Destination Development Manager, Wilderness Explorers, who is Vice President; Camille Boodhoo, Managing Director, Old Fort Tours & Angellina’s Travel Service, who is Treasurer; and Dane Gobin, CEO, Iwokrama International Centre Eduardo Reple, General Manager, Guyana Marriott Hotel, Victor Pires, Managing Director, Bullseye Investments & Amazon Chemicals Guyana and Salvador de Caires, Customer Experience Specialist, Atta Lodge, who are Committee Members.
Mitra Ramkumar, of Roraima Airways Inc., is the Immediate Past President.
