Chase Academy, Charlestown, and East Ruimveldt secured easy wins when the Georgetown leg of the Guyana Football Federation/Blue Water Shipping U15 girls’ league continued at the National Training Centre, Providence.
According to a release from the federation, Chase Academy downed Campbellville United 3-1 compliments of a Marta Chance hat-trick. On target in the loss was Ranella Alexander.
Similarly, Charlestown Super Strikers dismissed Tutorial Thunders 4-1. Akeelah Vancooten fashioned a brace while Nelisa Bristol netted once. Adding to the score was an own goal. For the losers, Afrika Blackman found the back of the net.
Likewise, East Ruimveldt Empresses brushed aside Tutorial Thunders 4-1. Dellanna Small bagged a double while Azaria Wilson and Fayon Harry netted one each apiece. For Tutorial, Jada Mason scored.
“The league is Guyana’s first nationwide competition for girls in the U15 age group, and will be played out across the country as the Guyana Football Federation continues to build the necessary platform to develop football in a sustainable way for all”, the release stated.
