The Ministry of Health yesterday said that a fully vaccinated Region Two man, 20, has succumbed to COVID-19.
In a statement, the ministry said that it was not known if the man had had a booster dose.
His passing takes the death toll from the pandemic to 1, 256.
Meanwhile, the ministry’s dashboard reported that there had been 24 new cases of the virus. Two persons are in the ICU.
