Dynamic FC and Buxton Stars recorded easy wins while Mahaica Determinators registered a hard-fought victory when the East Demerara Football Association (EDFA) Stag Beer Senior Men’s League continued yesterday at the National Training Centre, Providence.
Dynamic FC crushed Buxton United 3-0 with Dequan Douglas bagging a brace in the 10th, and 13th minute while Tyrese James found the back of the net in the sixth minute.
Buxton Stars was equally as impressive stinging Victoria Scorpions twice in the first half through Clevo Barnwell and Neil Hutson in the fourth and 45th minute respectively.
In the other encounter a determined Mahaica Determinators edged newcomers Airy Hall Stars 5-4.
Reon Waldron crafted a second half double in the 54th and 76th minute while Julius Hamilton, Okemi Griffith and Samuel Vandiik added goals in the 15th, 42nd and 60th respectively. On target for the losers were Telly Eastman, Frank Pompey, Omar Williams, and Leroy Halley in the 17th, 23rd, 46th and 75th minute respectively.
