A 79-year-old man has been reported as the country’s latest COVID-19 fatality. It was said that the unvaccinated man of Region Four, Demerera-Mahaica succumbed on July 12th.
The country’s pandemic death toll has now risen to 1,264.
The Ministry of Health yesterday also recorded 91 new COVID cases. Four persons are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Liliendaal, while 31 are in institutional isolation and 842 in home isolation.
