A probe launched more than seven months ago into the hit-and-run accident that claimed the life of 78-year-old Veronica Lewis still has investigators stumped.
The woman’s son on Monday told this newspaper that since his mother was struck down on Lamaha Street, in the vicinity of Waterloo Street, North Cummingsburg, Georgetown on November 29, 2021, no leads have come to light.
During the initial stages of the investigation, the woman’s son had said that he was told by someone that footage of the accident was captured, however, he is unaware as to what might have happened to the footage, since he never got to view it.
