The Guyana Police Consumers’ Co-op Society was crowned champions of the Guyana Police Force’s 183rd Anniversary cook-up rice competition which was held yesterday at the Officers’ Mess and OTC Tarmac, Eve Leary, Georgetown.
A release from the police said that the competition saw 42 teams participating from all the Regional Divisions, Branches, and Departments of the Guyana Police Force.
In second place was General Office Administration and in third place was the Police Credit Union Co-op.
The judges were Gerry Gouveia, Dawn Brathwaite, Duanne Lewis and Hubert Urlin.
