The sidewalk being built along UG Road between the East Coast Highway and the Embankment Road will cost $24.1m, according to source at the Ministry of Public.
According to the source, the length of the sidewalk is 1600 ft. Spectre Construction is undertaking the works. A sidewalk has been on the agenda for many years and had been sought by students of the University of Guyana and the Cyril Potter College of Education.
