The Ministry of Health yesterday said that a 68-year-old man from Region Two has succumbed to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The man who the ministry disclosed was unvaccinated, died on July 18.
This now raises the country’s death toll to 1,268.
Meanwhile, 114 new cases were recorded after 841 tests were conducted. The new cases were recorded from Region One with 6, Region Two – 2, Region Three – 9, Region Four with 70 new cases, Region Five with 5, Region Six – 8, Region Seven – 5, and Region Nine – 9.
The updated dashboard shows 3 persons in the ICU, 31 in institutional isolation, and 874 in home isolation.
