All 320 booths and other spaces for the International Building Expo have been taken up and security plans finalised as the country gears up for the grand opening today at the National Stadium, Providence.
According to Minister of Housing and Water Collin Croal, he had a meeting with senior members of the Guyana Police Force and had a walk-through of the exhibition site, finalising security arrangements to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience at the Expo.
He said that he was excited at the major event which will showcase Guyana and its trajectory to the year 2030. The minister said that a time tunnel constructed at the Expo site, would take visitors through the expected developmental stages of Guyana from now to 2030.
