(Barbados Nation) The Guyanese woman who was shot and killed at Bush Hill, St Michael, on Friday night has been identified.
She is Caroline Baird, 44 years, of Dalkeith Hill, in the same parish.
Police say she was identified by her 23-year-old son David George.
The police said that she died at the scene after a struggle with a number of people in a car around 11:15 p.m. on Friday.
Police say the incident occurred at Bush Hill, St Michael, in an area situated at the rear of the Grand Stand of the Garrison Savannah.
An unnatural death investigation has been launched and police are appealing for public assistance.
