Come August 13, seven stunning and vivacious young women will compete for the Miss Emancipation crown and title.
Each of the contestants, hailing from different parts of Guyana, will be given the opportunity to showcase their intelligence, elegance and appreciation of African culture.
The contestants are: Donelle Harvey, a Store Clerk, Shauntaé Washington an Encoder/Data Entry Clerk, Kayshell Jennings, a Public Relations Officer and medical student, Chaunté Eastman, a Producer/Radio Broadcaster, Ackila Smit, a Teacher and Disability Advocate, Runessa Williams, a Teacher and Sharmaine Nelson, an Insurance Clerk.
