The Ministry of Health yesterday said that a Region Two man, 49, succumbed to COVID on Saturday.
It said that the Pomeroon-Supenaam man was not vaccinated. His passing takes the COVID death toll to 1,270.
Meanwhile, the Ministry’s daily dashboard yesterday reported 34 new cases of COVID. It disclosed that five persons are in the ICU.
The number of recovered cases is at 67,388.
