Guyana’s athletes and officials have arrived in Barbados for the 49th edition of the Central America and Caribbean (CAC) Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships.

The two-day event starts today at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre in the parish of St Michael. Guyana will be represented by 11 athletes – seven males and the remainder females.

The full team reads: Emmerson Campbell and Jonathan Jeffrey (Men’s Physique), bikini athletes Christina Ramsammy and Hannah Rampersaud, Bodybuilders Roger Callender, Nicholas Albert, Darious Ramsammy, Rawle Green, and Julio Sinclair. Wellness competitors, Rosanna Fung and Asanti Conway complete the outfit. Videsh Sookram and the federation’s president, Keavon Bess, are the officials on the sojourn.
