Family, friends and supporters of Quindon Bacchus, the youth who was killed by police last month, on Friday staged a protest outside of the Chambers of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) as they continued to press for more ranks to be charged.
Approximately 10 persons, some bearing placards, gathered in front of the DPP’s office for the protest.
Bacchus’ father, Julius Bacchus, told Stabroek News that ‘’the police story is not adding up. According to the video and the statement that they give first and last, it’s not adding up.”
