Twelve indigenous beauties from hinterland communities of Region 10 will tomorrow night compete for the crown and title of the Miss Region 10 Indigenious Queen and the opportunity to represent the region at the national Miss Indigenious Heritage Queen pageant.
The contestants are all from inidgenious communities on the Demerara and Berbice rivers and will compete in traditional wear, talent, evening wear and intelligence categories among others.
The 12 contestants are Kaila Hall, Roshanna Torres, Mileene Williams, Alicia Fredricks, Janella Pollard, Shelina Denhart, Sheik Wilikinson, Sophia Hartman, Lolitata Stellinburg, Cynthia Allen, Rockel Fredricks and Renese Mac-su-Hung. The pageant will be held at Lichas Hall, Linden and admission for spectators is set at $500 per person.
